DEBATING.
B.H.S. V. ST. ANDREW'S COLLEGE. ' A debate waa held at St. Andrew's College on Saturday night between teams representing the College and Boys' High School. The subject was "That the Future Peace of the" World Depends upon ,an Alliance of . the .Great English-speaking Peoples." The Boys' High School team, for the negative, won ,after a close contest. R. Lund (8.H.5.) was the best speaker, G. Reid being first in the St. Andrew's- team. The judge, Mr C T. Aschman, after giving valuable criticism,-said the standard of debating on both aides was highly commend/ able-
