FULLERS' OPERA HOUSE.
The enormous success of the Phil Smith Musical Comedy Company seems certain to be continued this week at Fullers' Opera House, when Mr Smith will present his fourth production, "Just a Girl." This is described as a piece in which romance, huijiour, and song are pleasantly united. It is laid to be a vivacious, sparkling, and inconsequential trifle, chockful of humorous moments, lilting melodies and pretty ensembles. Phil Smith and Nat Hanley will carry on the good work of fun-making with' the zest that has made them so popular, while the remaining principals will add their quota to an enjoyable show. The Smiling Six will be seen in new dances, while the dressing and scenic effects will be on the usual magnificent scale associated with Mr Smith's show. In the vaudeville section, a reappearance will be made by that brilliant ventriloquist, Mr Walter Vernon, who is always certain of an enthusiastic welcome from a Christchurch audience. He has a choice collection of new fuany stories to offer. Miss June Mills, aptly described as "The World's Fattest Flapper," will be seen in a new comedv offering, in which she will be. again assisted by William Innes, a basso of eminent abilities. Few musical acts have proved so>Jnstantly popular as the Harris Family, aid they have a change of programme which is certain to aopeal. The Milford Three will be seen in a complete change of novel dances, while Danny d'AJma will present his cleverly trained dogs for another week. . The box plan is on view' at The Bristol, and patrons are requested to reserve their seats in advance in order to be certain of good accommodation.
