"WEEKLY PRESS" CHRISTMAS ANNUAL.
The special Christmas number of •The Weekly Press," which will be published on October 19th,(is regarded as the best issue of its Mod ever produced. In planning the lay-oat of this year's number, special attention has been paid to tho selection of pictures covering the life, sport, and scenery of New Zealand five subjects an treated in a series of double-page "spreads," and the thirty-two pagei of pictures include no fewer than ■' eleven superb whole-page engravings. The issue will be an 'all-picture" num. bcr. There are 70 pictures reprc- ,_ duced from beautiful camera studies, which represent the very best in the art of pnotography. Tho cover is an unusually tasteful design in colour, and there is a. splendid art supplement —a reproduction by the three colour process of a picture by a wellknown New Zealand artist. Apart from its merits as a truly New Zealand pictorial symposium, the 182J5 Christmas number of "The Weekly Press" will be remarkable for the excellence of the printing.
