GRAND NATIONAL WEEK. fares on tho tramways during Grand National Week this year show an increaso of over £3OO as compared with tho cash fare receipts for tho same woek last year. Some of the increase is due to tho fact that since Grand National Week, 1924, fares have boon raised. The figures for this year's Grand National Week also include the sale, by conductors, of tho one-section concession cards. Last vcar these cards wore not sold by conductors.
