Tho Kiwi Stmshine Players intend giving a concert in St. Mary's Schoolroom, Adciington, on September Ist, under the auspices ot tho St, Mary's Ladies' " Council. Those who were -unable to- gain admittance to the Oxford terrace Baptist Church on Sunday evening are informed that another service has been arranged at which tho Fleet chaplin wil speak. It will' be hold in the Opawa Baptist Church, "Wilson's road,,.to-night. A meeting of shareholders of the New Zealand Farmers' Co-ojwrativa Association will be held in the A. and P. rooms, Methven, on Thursday at 2.30 p.m. An address on mcdern road' construction •will bo given by Mr E. Parker, under the auspices of the Citizens' and Ratepayers' Association, in tho old City Council Chambers to-night. Mr Alexander Marky will deliver a leoture on Dr. Abraons's electronic treatment of disease in the Choral Hall to-night, commencing at 8 o'clock. ■ '• i A sale of home-made cakes, etc., m aid of St. George's Hospital will be held in tho vestibule of Everybody's Theatre on Saturdav morning. Tho Training ex-students annual reunion will be held in the Normal School to-morrow.
