ALFONSO SHOT.
ATTACKED BY ANARCHIST. COMPANION SERIOUSLY WOUNDED. (B? CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION —COITBIOHT.) (Stdset "Sun"' Sexvice.) (Received August i7th, 12-5 a.m.) LONDON", August 16. The Madrid correspondent of the "Daily News" says that King Al'onso, whilo motoring in the Sa-nt Ander district, was shot with a revolver by an anarchist, the bullet entering his arni. An officer accompanying tho King, was seriously wounded.
