SATURDAY. (Before Messrs J. Wallace and C. S. Bingham, J.P. s.) THREE MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT. Seutence of three months' imprisonment was passed on Willimn Anderson, bootmaker, 42 years of age, who recently from Wellington, on a charge of being idle and disorderly in that he placed himself in Manchester street on Friday for the purpose of begging alms. Anderson, _ who admitted the offence, had spent some time in the Salvation Army Home. A DOUBLE CHARGE. A labourer, David John Hildvavd, aged R2 years, was convicted and lined 20p, in default 48 hours' imprisonment for having been found drunk on the platform at the railway station on Friday. A further charge against him, of having broken his prohibition order, was adjourned till the 26th inst. DRUNKENNESS. Three local men, who were charged for the first time with drunkenness, were each convicted and fined 10s, in default 24 hours imprisonment. , , Two other men, who had been bailed out of the lock-up in the sum of were e&ch convicted and fined that amount, in default 48 hours* imprisonment. MOTORIST CHARGED. Charged with having been found in ft state of intoxication whilst in charge of a motorcar in Moorhouse avenue on Friday, rorbes Aschroft Blackmore, traveller, SI years of age, was remanded to appear to-day. Bail was allowed. REMANDED. In the case in which Carl Jensen, aged 24 years, a Dane, was charged with being the father of an illegitimate child, accused was remanded to appear at Greymouth on Wednesday. Bail was allowed. A remand till Saturday next at Recfton granted in the case in which George Mullins, miner, 25 vears of age, was charged with being the father of the unborn illegitimate child of a Reefton woman. BIGAMY ALLEGED. Bigamy was the charge preferred against Charles Fineliam, alias John Wilson, 60 3 ears of age. it was alleged in tho charge that on ™aj Bth, 1914, at Nelson, then being marked, Fincham went through a form of marwith Charlotte Elizabeth Naylor, thereby committing bigamy. Accused was remanded to appear at Nelson on Friday. Bail was allowed.
