LYTTELTON NEWS.

+ Euchre and Dance. The weekly euchre party and danco were held in the Foresters' Hall on Saturday evening. The priie-winners were:—Ladies: Mrs L. Geayloy I, Mrs R. Campbell 2, Mrs L. Thomas i). Gontlemen: Mr J. B. Radcliflfe 1, Jlr T. Halliday 2, Mr P. Wheeler 3. After the card party supper was provided, and the remainder of the evening was spent in dancing to music supplied by Mr A. Arneson, senior. Mr L. Thomas was M.C. Harbour Light Theatre. There was a full house at the Harbour Light Theatre on Saturday night, when "I Want My Man," featuring Doris Kenyon and Milton Sills, was screened, together with two comedies and a gazette. Mr Arthur McDonald, baritone, appeared in threo songs, and was very well received, his recall number, "The Stoker," evidently touching a vein of popular sentiment. Tho picture portion of the programme will be repeated tonight. To-morrow "Behold This Woman," starring Irene Rich, will be shown. The supporting programme includes a comedy, graphic, and a further episode of the serial "Tho Fast Steppers." Harbour light theatre—'To-night: Doris Kenyon and Milton Sills in "I Want My Man"; two Comedies, Gazette. Tomorrow: Ireno Rich in "Behold This Woman"; Graphic, Comedy, "The Fast Steppers" (Ep. 4).
