£60,000 IN 23 YE^RS. (by cable—pbess association-—copiaioaT.) (Sidney "Sun ' Sebvice.J NEW YORK, August 12. Joseph Ward, a cashier at a bank at Benwood, West Virginia, has been arrested on a chargo of stealing £60,000 from tho bank. He was appointed cashier 24 years ago. In the following year, according to Ward's confession, ho commenced taking money, and continued systematically till ho fled.
