The Gale, due on Sunday from Timaru, loads on Monday for Wellington, Pietofi, and Wanganui. The Progress is expected on Sunday from Wellington with cattle. She is to sail on Monday for Dunedin. The Holmdale is to load on Wednesday for Wellington and Wanganui. The Oropuki is due to-morrow from Tarakohe with cement. She loads on Monday for Nelson, West-port, and Greymouth. The Katoa is to load on Tuesday and the Kaiapoi on Thursday, both for Auckland Jil The Waihora is expected on Tuesday from Svdncf. Prom here she goes to Dunedin. Mr 31. K. Young has replaced Mr 51. A. B "t'awthron as mate on the Awarua. Mr T. M. Swede has signed off the Awarua's articles ns chief engineer, and Mr 11, Bright has joined tho vessel as second -STt; A. Mack has succeeded Mr J. E. Advice has been received that the freighter Sussex left Calcutta on August 10th with ear"o for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, j_vt"t.elton, Timaru. Dunedin, and Buff. She is' due at Auckland on September 10th and »t Wellington obout a week later. The C. and D. Line's motor-ship Port Dunndin left Dunedin on Wednesday morning for Lyttelton and New Plymouth to complete discharge. She in now in the stream at Lvttelton. Tho vessel will then load for London at New Plymouth. Opus. Wanginui. ".Vclington, Waikokopu, and Napier, and is expected to sail finally from the lait-men-i turned port on September 16th for London, via Panama. Tho Shaw, Sftvill Company has been advised by eablo of tho departure of the Matnkana from Balboa on August 9th for Auckland, in continuation of her voyage from Liverpool. The vessel is doe ot Auckland on August 30th, and at Wellington about a week later. The Shaw. Savill Company is in receipt oi cable advice that the Karanga left London on August Bth with general cargo for discharge at Suva, Port Chalmers (or Dunedin) Lvttelton. and Timaru. The vessel should reach Port. Chalmers on September 24th.

For the second time this week trouble has occurred ■with the crews of overseas steamers "in Lyttelton. This timo it is tho crew oi the Pcarlmoor, which has just comploted discharging- n part cargo of Nauru Island phosphates, aid tho crew have taken up the 3»mo attitude that tho crew of tho Willaston Udopted a few days ago, demanding New Zealand rates of j>ay, with NeW Zealand conditions. The men cam© ashore and the vessel was taken out into the streajn. Tho master of the vessel later received instructions to grant the demands under formal protest, and the vessel sailed yesterday afternoon. TRAWLER SUNK. (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAH.) DUNEDIN, August 13. Yesterday tho fishing trawlers Black Cat, locally owned, and the Kohinoor, belonging to William Currie, of Timaru, collided in the lotrer harbour, the latter sinking:.
