Daniel Henry James Murray, 'aged 48 labourer, who is believed to (be...a. resident of Surry Hilts, Sydney, was shot dead at Albury, and his son, Henry William, has been arrested on a charge of murder. Family troubles are alleged to bare been the cause of the deed.

Murray, who had been separated for years from his wife, arrived at Albury from Sydney on the morning of the tragedy. During the day, with his son. ho visited several hotels. They apparently were on the most friendly terms. Later an oldstanding dispute on family, matters revived. Whilo it was progressing. the son went to an outhouse and, gpt,a' sh6;tgun, : which' he discharged aB the- men were approaching each other. The father was fatally shot in the neck.
