Quail Island Lepers. The Lvttclton Marine Band visited Quail Island on Sunday, and entertained tile patients to a concert. The programme was as follows:—March, "Stars and Stripes ; selection, ';Chu Chin Chow."; cornet duet, •■ Ine Two Roses" (Messrs AV. Jeffries and Jousrhin) ; waltz, "Tesoro Mio' ; hymns, '•Old Hundredth," "When I Survey the AVondrous Cross"; trombone comiqiie, "St. A'itus Dance" (Bandsman T. Gorst);. foxtrot, "How's Your Poor Old Feet!"; K Flat Bass solo. "Tuba" (Bandsman F. Childs) ; march, "Punchinello." Tbo programme concluded with "Auld Lang Syue" and the National Anthem. . The lepers' slay at Quail Island is notr drawing to a close. August Bth is the date mentioned on, which the Hinemoa will pick up the patients for conveyance to an island in the Fiji group. Next Sunday the final religious service will bo held, at which representatives o£ all churches in Lyttelton havebeen invited to take part. ' ■
