Detective N. Bayliss has returned front Sydney. Mr P. L. Ashbolt (Wellington) is at Warner's Hotel. ' Messrs F. W. Nicholson (Wellington), J. King (Dunedin), J. Conner and G. Morrison (Timaru) are afc the Clarendon Hotel. The Rev. B. Dudley lias intimated to his circuit officials that ho will bo seeking a new circuit at the termination or his third year, next April. Mr A. W. Green, manager of the Ruakura State Farm, hat; received notice of his transfer to Hawke's Bay. Mr Green has been at Ruakura for 18 years. Beecnt arrivals at the United Service Hotel include Messrs W. P. Oweu (Greymouth), A. M. Jlartc (Wellington), ,F. S. Osterman (.Sydney), J. y. C.'urtis (Tjniaru), and W. L. Spackman (Napier).
