RUGBY LEAGUE.
ADDINGTON V. HORNBY. "What promises to be the moat exciting footbal* match of the year will be (staged at Monica Park to-day when Addington and Hornby will meet. These teams are. trained to the- minute and know how to keep tbe play open and fast. The Addington backs especially are a fine 1 lot, and the Hornby backs and forwards will have "to tackle very well to keep them out. The game on the No. o ground should also prove ve.T exerting with Waimairi playing Sydenham. The former team expect to -go through the second round without a .'defeat, but Sydenham think they wili- lower their colours tc-dny. Two even teams in Woolston and Manals B will meet on Woolston Park, where some excellent football should be seen. At Linwood Park, Marists A should beat Linwcod if their backs get the ball from the scrums.
