LONDON, Juno 17. i'or the lawn tennis tournament at Wimbledon the strongest entrants for tho mixed doubles are Borotra, with MUo. Lenglen Lycett and his wife, Washer and Mrs Sattherthwaite, Spence and Miss Colyer. The strongest of tho ladies' doubles entrants are tho holuers, Mile. Lenglqn and Alias .Ryan, and Mrs Lycett and Miss Colyer. Following the principle adopted ; in 1924, tho draw was seeded, and tho moat-fancied competitors placed in separate sections. The seeded New Zealanders wore Fotheringham, Nicholson, Salmond, Melody, and Mrs Melody. ' HONOLULU TOURNEY. HONOLULU, Juno 17. Harvey Snodgrass (Los . Angelee) and Richard Cooke (Honolulu) won tho Mid-Paci-fic tennis doubles. They will contend for . the singles title. • EASTBOURNE MATCHES. (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) At the Eastbourne tennis tournament in the doubles, Britain defeated America, Godfree and Whealley beating Hennessey and Casey, 4-6, 6-4, 11-9, 4-6, 6-3. Britain leads by 2 to' 1 matches.
