The flood waters in the "Wagga district are rapidly receding and most of the refugees havo returned to their homes. In the trail of the flood, from Queanbeynn to W'agga, there is a wide track of desolation and damage to the amount of at least £.500,000. The river is rising rapidly at "Narrandern, and tho inhabitants are evacuating their homes in the low-lying districts.
