The Loyal City of Chrislchurch Lodge, Manchester Unity Oddfellows, held their fortnightly meeting on Monday evening. N.G. Bro. B. M. West presided over a fair attendance of members. A motion cf sympathy with the family of the late Bro. W. S\ Masscy, Prime Minister, was passed. The sentiments of the evening were given in silence out of respect to the late brother. One new' member was initiated and one proposed for membership. The Lodge decided to celebrato .the 72nd anniversary with a conversazione, also to alter the quarterly meeting to May in place of June. District G.M./Bro. A. P. W. James, and District Treasurer Bro. J. B. Merriman paid an official visit. Bro. C. Millington S.P.D.G.M., and Bro. C. Maher, of Timaru Lodge, were ako. present.
