OXFORD DOMAIN BOARD.

A meeting of the Oxford Domain Board was he'.d in the Coronation Hall recently. Present: Messrs F. Debenhani, chairman; A. Baxter, D. Hawke, and G. Byde. Itjas decided to make a reduction in Mr Taylor's Tent .as long as the piece of ground was required by the View Hill Tennis Club. It was decided to hare the electric light installed in the Coronation Hall *nd the Public Library when it was available, is was agreed to put down three sump holes in the football ground to drain away the surface water. It was also decided to erect a white marble slab against the Peace oak tree suitably inscribed, commemorating the signing of peace in the Great War 1914 to 1918. It was decided to hare the trees on the south side of the Domain topped: before the winter.
