He declares tint this amazing fact had come to light as the result of the'installation of selfrecavering instruments in the cold storage chambers of the Windsor Castle. The experiments had proved that the steamer undergoes certain respiratory movements, resulting in a considerable leakage of gas from the cold ttorago chamber containing fruit.
