MATCH AT AKAROA. A Tennis team from tfco city, organised by Mr Jardea, played a friendly match with representatives of the Akaroa Domain Club on the Municipal Courts in the Domain. The visitors were hospitably entertained at luncheon and afternoon tea, and before leaving, expressed their appreciation of a p.'easant day's outing. SUSPENSION OF PLAYERS. (»T . CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) ■ DELHI,; April 26. A meeting of the Council of the All-India Lawn Tennis Association was held to consider the suspensions of the Indian Davis Cup players, Fyzee and Jacob, by the English Lawn Tennis Association.

At the conclusion of the meeting a communiquo was issued stating that a cablegram had been sent to the manager of the Indian Davis Cup players to instruct the players concerned to give the necessary undertaking to settle the matter. The Indian .Association does not question the English Association's right to act as it did, but its method is questioned.
