A TOWN CLERK SUSPENDED.

At a meeting of the Hamilton Borough Council, the Town Clerk, Mr E. Davey, was suspended until next meeting, when the position will be folly discussed.
Recently an Investigation Committee reported on 'borougb affairs, and recommended the appointment of a comptroller to take supreme control. Thereupon the clerk circulated councillors, making certain allegations against members of the Investigation Committee. Last night's decision was the result.
