SOUTH RAKAIA ROAD BOARD.
The wonthlv meeting oi the South JUkaia Road Board was held in the Board's office on Thursdar. There were promt-Means A ' J Hagson (chairman), H. J. Crothers, H. A. Harrison, W- Carruthers, and. Jas. Lambie. The clerk reported a credit balance in th» bank of £336 I s ™- EiiU:s collected since last meeting totalled f220 4s 4d, and outstanding rates amounted to £149 Os 3d. The-clerk waß i nstructed to ißsue notices to defaulters and to take legal proceedings to recover unpaid, rates after eeven day*.
