SALMON NETTING.
to the xorros or "an raxss-" Sir.—Your correspondent. **£ % Year License," seems to be labouring under the delusion that fishermen anpermitted to net salmon without special license. 1 should like to point out to him that it costs £5 to net salmon, an*! an extra £.5 to sell same. If he finds that £1 a year license does nut provide sufficient salmon, perhaps h<* would like to outlay £SO cr more on boat, net, etc, and set forth to net his fish, to return maybe after a hart! day's work with blistered palm* 3* tho solo reward for his expenditure. He must also remember that his £1 a year license entitles him to fish for trow and salmon in anr part of the river, while that of the "sport" with the boat is for salmon alone, and his fishing ground only extends a few chains from the mouth.—Yours, etc., BLISTERS.
