ST. MARTINS MYSTERY.

EVIDENCE WILL BE HEARD ON 16th INST. For the fourth time since his arrest, Frederick Feter Mouat, aged 40 years, who is now in custody on a charge of having murdered his wife. Nellie Mouat, at St.'Martins on February 20th, appeared yesterday before Messrs F. H. Christian and P. L. Da vies, JJVs. There was again present in Court the usual eager and curious crowd of onlookers. The accused was dressed in a navy bine suit, and was wearing an overcoat of a similar colour. Mr C. S. Thomas and Mr W. J. Sim appeared fcr Mouat.

The prosoc-utor for tho Crown, Mr A. T., Donnelly, in applying for' a further remand, said: "I apply for another remand, you Worships, till Wednesday next. I propose to take all the evidence oil the 16th. Therefore that will entail another remand next Wednesday.'' "Very well," said the Bench. "Remanded for a week."
