Votes of thanks were accorded' Mrs Craeroft Wilson, Miss Lindschaw, and Nurse Wilson, who gave interesting and enlightening addresses on February 3rd. It was reported that though the Plunket system had been in operation only a little over a year in the district, it had taken a iirm hold, and the nurse, who visited Belfast weekly, was kept very busy. The mothers take a keen and grateful interest in the advice given. The figures for the year ending March, 1925, arc as follows:—Adults interviewed, 443; babies seen, 377; older children, 348; new cases, 37. Seventeen visits had been paid to homes. During the year two competitions and a benefit picture entertainment had been given to augment the funds. Mothers had subscribed generously per medium of the box placed in the hall. The committee is now collecting on behalf of the mothers' cottage at the Karitane Baby Hospital, and a gratifying response is being met with. The resignation of Mrs Reese was accepted with regret, and the committee placed ou record its gratitude for the assistance she had given during the year. The branch regretted the temporary loss of the valuable services of Mrs A. Brown, whose energy and enthusiasm as secretary and treasurer since the inception of the branch had been largely responsible for its success. The committee tendered its thanks to ; all [ those who have helped in any way to make this year's work so successful.
