RANGIORA HIGH SCHOOL BOARD.
A meeting of tho Rangiora' High School Board was held last night. Mr R. Ball presided. Mr J. Tate, Director o£. Education, Victoria, wrote regretting his. inability to visit liangiora when in Christchurch. In an interview with Mr J. K. St ashan (principal of the Rangioia High Scluol) he was greatly interested in' rural agricultural education, and trusted that he would be able to makj a (success of the genuine rural lile school. It was decided to- apply to ihe Health Department for overhead expenses incurred at the hostc! through the closing of tho schools on account of 'the epidemic. It wav decided to write. Mr I°. R. Callaghan, late supervisor cf the Government Agricultural Department at Wembley, and an' ex-teacher of the school, to give an address cn the Exhibition cn his arrival in Christchurch. The iicadmast:r • rviorted that out of 60 new pupils joining the school' this year, only 19 were boys.
