LAND SALES. Messra Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Ltd., sold on Saturday on account of the Public Trustee (as administrator of the estate of the late Mr William Horrell), 105 acres of freehold l*nd at Harrelvillo for £3B an acre. At Leeaton eale on Friday afternoon, Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Ltd. (in conjunction with &e National Mortgage and Agency Co., Ltd.), offered bv auction two blocks of tlw Tiavensworth Estate, Leeston. Lot 1, comprising 100 acres, was sold at £55 per acre, and lot 2, of 129 acres, was acid to the Canterbury Seed Company at £3B per acre. At their land sale rooms on Saturday, Dalgety .and Co., Ltd., offered for sale by public auction the "Dovedalo" property owned by Mr W. H. Taylor and comprising 1400 acres. The property was sold to Mr D. C. Gardiner, of Glandovey road, for £l3 an acre. A farm of 134 acres owned by Mr S. Haughey (Cheviot) was passed in.
