ANNUAL MEETING OF ASSOCIATION.
The annual meeting of the Homo Economics Association was held last evening, iu the Y.M.C.A. Concert Hall, Mrs G. Cooper presiding over a good attenda'nee. The annual report-stated that during the past .year many ■ practisaL demonstrations •had been held and proved most successful. Various displays and addresses had been given, and all the meetings had been well attended. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £66. During tho y&tr the "Association had given £2O to the Fresh Air Fund.
Jhe election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mrs G. Cooper: vice-presidents, Hisses Blackmore and McKee; committee, Mrs Muff, Mrs Bowbyes, Mrs Earton, Misses li. Grilmour, Sidey, J. Beck, Thompson, and "Wardle; secretary, Miss Bevin; afsistantseoretary, Miss Mclnnern^r. A musical programme wub given by Mrs goocock, Miss 6. Hopkins, Miss H. S. Bobinson, Miss' Mclnnerney, and Miss I. Cooper. The syllabus of the work for the coming year will include cookery, millinery, house decorating and furnishing, gardening, needlework, and handcraft.
