NEW COMETS.
COPENHAGEN ANNOUNCEMENT. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEG2AII.) WELLINGTON, March 27The Central Astronomical Bureau, Copenhagen, announces the discovery of a new comet on March 24th, at 23 hours 2-5 minutes. The comet, which was of the eleventh magnitude, was discovered at Hcrgedorf. Its position of discovery was K.A. llhrs 4<inin & sec. decreasing two minutes per Jay, declination 1 degiec -14 in north, increasing sin per day. The comet is ciosi- to the star Beta Virginis Ventra. 'Jiie Astronomical Bureau at Copenhagen also announces the discovery of a new cornet on March 24th at 21hrs 33min. The comet was of the eighth magnitude. Its position on discovery was R.A. IShrs 29min: 47sec, decreasing 48 seconds per day, declination 20 degrees 16in south, increasing loin per dav. The; {ccmo'/ 'is nearly halfway from Alpha Virginis to Theta Centauius.
