The newly-elected District Management Committee held its first) meeting on Thursday, the District Grand Master, Bro. A. F. W. James, presiding over the following:— Bros. Prance, D.D.G.M., T. Archbold, D.S., J. Meirimun, D.T., J. MUUngton, 1.P.G.M., Past Grands Beattie, Beagley, and G. T. Hillsdon. The District Grand Master, in addressing the new committee, said that with the aid of the other officers he hoped to keep the flag of Oddfellowship flying high. Past Grand Bro. G. T. Hillsdon was appointed reporter for the district. After the business was concluded, a social gathering was held. Numerous toasts were proposed, the principal toasts being the District Grand Master, Deputy District Grand Master, District secretary and treasurer, Immediate Pnst Grand Master and the members of the Management Committee. ,
