CASUALTIES.
Cyril Sutherland, aged 18 years, who resides at Sawyers' Arms road, Papanui, was treated- at the Cliristchurch Hospital yesterday for a bullet wound through the left foot.

AUCKLAND, March 14. The body of Miss Loc.kington, who had been missing from Helensville, was found in th'e river this morning by ;i search party. ROTORUA, March 1-1. The body of Donald Mackenzie, a contractor, aged 3S, a married mau with five children, was found yesterday near a motor-lorry and trailer, over a bank at the 49-mile peg on the TaupoRotorua road. The deceased was found by Mr Phippard, driver of a mail ear. It is understood that he left Wairakei shortly before the mail car started.
