TENNYSON STREET CHURCH MUSICAL RECITAL.

The first of a series of monthly musical recitals will bo given to-morrow night in the Tennyson street Congregational Church., immediately following the evening service. These recitals aTe baing organised by Mr Bernard Barken.- and Mr Claude "Williams, tho latter being the permanent organist of the church. In addi'.ion to violin and piano selections by Mr Earker and Mr Williams respectively, it is intended that tho instrumental numbers shall be varied by vocal solos contributed by other prominent artists. The singer for to-morrow night will be Mr R. Bruce Macdonald, who recently returned from a tour of Amrica. Interest will be added to these recitals by brief commentaries on the selections and composers represented on the programmes. These introduciory notss will bo given by the Rev. Argyll Saxby, minister of the church.
