Within a few months Montreal will be directly connected with Australia through Marconi's new system of beam radio telegraphy. At Drummondville, Quebec,-the Marconi Company are putting the finishing touches on a radio station for communication with England. Three additional towers will shortly be erected for the Canada-Australia circuit. Drummondville thuß will be one of the greatest radio centres on the continent. The beam circuit will be operated in conjunction with tho British Post Office, allowing messages to be sent from England to Drummondville, and then relayed direct to Australia.
