A unique episode will take place shortlv when the town of Onslow will be removed holus holus to Beadon Point, 20 miles away. The old jetty at Onslow was not favourably situated and outgrew its usefulness. A new concrete structure half a mile long wa s therefore commenced at Beadon Point and the new town site declared. Vested "interests acquired in the old township were met by the -Government granting an exchange of the present residential blocks for ones of similar value in the new town site. The community expressed itself absolutely satisfied with the result.
