• % ■ • ■-■ ■ • WAIRARAPA CHAMPIONSHIP^ Tho final of the men's singles championship of the Wairarap* tournament was played at the 'Tnited courts last night, between G. OHivier (Canterbury) .and E. TV. B. Smythe (Wellington). Ollivier played splendid tennis.and took the match 6-1, $-3. Smythe served well and drove strongly on his forehand, but his weak backhand was •peppered by tho champion.
