HONOLULU, February 15,
The motor-ship Aorangi arrived a day late in consequence of a severe buffeting all the Way from Victoria.
The vessel was hove-to frequently, and much damage was ddne to fittings. Many persons received cuts and bruises, but no one was seriously injured.
The gale reached 80 miles an hour. Tho captain, states that it was the worst storm lie had ever experienced in, the Pacific..
[The Aorangi seems to have been unfortunate in the matter of the weather sho has experienced on her maiden trip, as a wireless message received at San Francisco on February Btli stated that when off the coast of North California the ship was struck by an abnormally large sea, which smashed the bridge and fittings on the promenade deck. A man's, leg was broken and a boy was cut by broken glass.]
