The "Daily Express" Paris correspondent reports that the startling collapse of tho franc is the one topic of conversation. It represent a fall of five points in. a week, and speculation On the Bourse is inclined in the direction of a panic.
On Saturday M. Herriot called a conference of experts, whose deliberations iasted until three o'clock on Sunday morning.
A disquieting factor is speculation against the franc, among ordinary people, suggesting a lack of conn3ence in the Government.
M. Yiolettc, reporter of the Budget, statc<J in tho Chamber that France requires another six thousand million francs revenue.
