FOUND DEAD
A body, presumed to be that of Harry Hendon, jeweller, of Greymouttt, was .discovered in an unoccupied house, 103 Haivfce street, New Brighton, at 5.40 p.m. yesterday. The man had been dead, for severa days and death was evidently due to gas-poisoning. The /iscoverv was made bv a man named. Howard, \\lio went to work at the house. A letter, addressed to «. relative at Grcymouth, wointed to suicide. On February 7th, a man supposed to be Hendon, left the Shades Hotel, where he had been staying and said he mi "lit not come back. During tue interval of time a young woman, describing herself as a daughter ot the man who had left the Shades Hotel, made enquiries about him. Constable Hislop. of New Brighton, wishes to interview the woman. . An inquest will probably be opened to-day.
