The League of Nntiorifc' Union gave a reception to a thousand students Or' the London University at the Imperial Institute, with a view to the formation of a University International Assembly, under" the aegis of the Union, similar to that established at Oxford.
Dr. Baker said that the London University was more cosmopolitan than Oxford, as its Overseas students included 120 frortt Australia, 400' from. Africa, 700 front Asia, 250 frohl the United States, and 372 from Europe.
Professor Gilbert Murray dcclaredthat the task of building up a novt world after the war was one to Which it was well \votth the yoUhg people demoting; their lives.
