BRITISH AND FOREIGN. Prince's South African Trip. In the House of Commons Labour members made a protest concerning the expenses of the Prince of Wales's trip to South Africa. On a vote they were defeated by a large majority. Fourth Test Match. England batted first in the Fourth Teat Match, commenced at Melbourne yesterday, and when stumps were drawn had lost two wickets for 282 runs. • The Gold Standard.
