Today's matches in the Canterbury Cricket Association's Senior Championship will be of raoro than usual interest, as the championship this season is being decided on u principle different from that usually followed. The four leading teams will engage in a semi-final round, and the two winners will play off for the championship. In the semi-final round, commencing to-day, Sydenham will meet Linwoocl at Lancaster Park and West Christchurch and Kast Christchurch will try conclusions at Hagley Park. In addition to these two matches, lticcarton and St. Albans will meet* at Hacley Park. CANTERBURY V. VICTORIA.
