PAST GRANDS' LODGE.
At the monthly meeting of the Loyal Past Grand 3' Lodge there was a large attendance, Bro. J. A. Alkins presiding. After the ordinary, business the Lodge adjourned to allow the District Officers to confer the Purple Degree on five members, after which the Lodge resumed and initiated three members for the P.G. -Lodge. On nest Lodge night the official visit of the District Officers will take place. The Lodge agreed to • attend the City of Christchurch Lodge en its first Lodge night in March, for a friendly gam© of cards.
