0 (press ASSOCIATION TEr.EOHASI.) AUCKLAND, February; 13. The claims of the Auckland Electrical Workers' Union for increased wages and improved conditions were heard yesterday by a Conciliation Council, Mr P. Holly, Conciliation Commissioner, presiding. The wages of workers were Increased from 2b ljd to 2s 2d an hour. Hours and other conditions of work, with some very slight alterations, remain as in the previous award. The new conditions come into operation on March 4th and continue for 12 months.
