SHIPPING NOTES. The Storm is to be" dispatched, to-day for Bluff and Duncdin. ' • - The Cygnet is to load on Monday for Kaikoura, Moiueka, and Nelson. The Rakanoa is to sail to-day for Gisborne to load sheep for Lyttelton. The Wanaka is due to-day with sheep from Gisborne. She returns to the same port for a further consignment., ' The Orepuki should arrive •to-morrow from Tarakohe. On Monday she loads" for "Wellington. "Westport, asjf Greymouth. The Parera is to land sheep, from Gisborne here to-morrow, and on Monday loads for Waikokopu. The Progress is due on Tuesday from Timaru, and is to sail in. the .afternoon with cargo for Wellington, "Wanganui, and -New Plymouth. The Calm should be here to-morrow from Timaru. -On - Monday. she. takes in cargo for "WellHngton and Wsnganui. The Hertford, which left Lyttelton on December 31st for London, via, Panama and Curacao, is reported to have armed »t her destination oa February Bth.
.According, to cablo advice received'by the New Zealand Shipping Co., the Willaston arrived-at. St. John on February -Bth. from Louisberg to continue loading for New .Zealand and Australian, ports. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotorua left Wellington yesterday afternoon for Lyttelton, to take in further cargo for-.Home. From Lyttelton the vessel will return to .Wellington, and. is expected-to sail finally from that port at noon on February 21st for Southampton ,and London, via PitcaJrn Island, Panama, and Curacao. Tfce-A. and A.Line agency advises that tho steamer. City. of Madias ig to leave New iTork _on February 25th with general cargo for discharge -at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Wariganui, and New Plymouth. The City of Madras will be followed by the Papanui, which is to Bail from New. York on March; 2nd for Auckland, Napier. Wellington. Lyttelton, Dnnedin, and Bluff.
Tho steamer Silkqwortlv with,manures'and general cargo from Antwerp and "Rotterdam, also .tanning bark and' maize from. Durban, is due at Auckland about February 27th, according to advice received by her agents, Messrs Ncill, Cropper and Co., of Auckland. The vessel, which will call at Newcastlo,-will discharge at Auckland, Wellington, N>pier, and Lyttelton. ■
