ATTEMPTED MURDER.
YOUTH PLEADS GUILTY. (press association telegram.) ■ NAPIER, February 9. Donald Stewart, a Maori, aged 17, was charged in the Magistrate's Court to-day with attempted murder. It waa stated that ho placed caustic soda in a bottle of medicine being used by Paraoihia "Walker, his aunt. Walker said that accused had admitted to her that he .put the poison in the medicine to fall her, ae she was his trustee. Hini TVatson, a young Maori girl, was previously charged with this offence, and was acquitted. Accused pleaded guilty and was committed for sentence. ,
