TYPHOID FEVER.
A UREWERA OUTBREAK. ; (PEISS ASSOCIATION TELBGBAM.) - HOTORUA, January 21. There is a serious outbreak of typhoid fever at Mangapohatu in the Urewera County. Twelve caees axe reported ana three deaths. A doctor and two nurses. are on the spot, and an additional doctor and three nurses leave Kotorua to-night. The cainp hospital equipment was dispatched early this morning. Mangapohatu is only accessible by horseback from Ruatahuna by a precipitous mountain route.
