F, Stead, at last evening's meeting of the council of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society, when discussing tho matter of securing specimens of eels to bo forwarded to Dr. John Schmidt, the eminent Danish saturajjst. The Society wants fifty small eels, -up to eight incites' in length, and decided to ask the boys to cutch them, offering threepence for each eel delivered at the Museum.
