FULLERS' OPERA HOUSE.
♦ Patrons will ißirn with regret that this is the last week in which Mr Jim Gerald will delight visitors to Fullers' Opera House. For hi 3 last Mr Gerald has decided to present, one of his most enjoyable musical comediettas, entitled "The Tennis Club." In this production Mr Gerald will portray a most amusing role, that of a valet to an English nobleman, and attached to a suburban club, and, as euch, is continually getti.cfi into trouble. His encounters with the other members of the club afford him many oppo rtttnities of merrymaking. A number of musical items will be mingled with tee comedy scenes, together with several dajices of a distinctive order bv the Six Twi-nklers, headed by Polly Maclaren. A good send-off is assured to this popular company, whose members include euch clever performers as Reg. Hawthorne, Essie Jenrings, Mona Thomas, Ernest Crawford, Howard Hall, Sophie Vivian, and Lance Vane. In the first part a first appearance will be made by John Moore who is described as a Scottish baritone with a strong sense of humour. He will be seen in several character studies, as well as in some of the most popular ballads. Miss Jenny Roy Ts another newcomer who is. said to specialise in light comedy numbers, of a really popular nature Those sensational acrobats, the Ixardo Bros., will present a new snd amusing a.ct entitled "Tne Lazy Bakers," which ifl claimed to be very different from the average acrobatic offering. Miss Lena Joste will also appear in song and dance. ■ The bote plan will open this morning at The Bristol, and patron 3 are strongly advised to reserve their seats in view of this bein? fcha laet week of Jim Gerald. Special holiday rruti-neea will be he'd on New Year's Day, Friday, Jannary 2nd, and next Saturday.
