ADVERTISING N.Z. ABROAD.

BOARD SET UP. (special to "tei tress.") WELLINGTON*, December 24. The Government has set up a Publicity Board for the purpose of advertising the resources of the Dominion abroad.

The Board will comprise the followin^ - ~ ,

Mr A. H. Messenger, Acting Government Publicity Officer. Mr D. llodie, commercial manager of the Railway Department. Mr B. M. Wilson, general "manager of the Tourist Department. Mr Digges-Smith, officer in charge of the advertising branch of the Railway Department, as ex-officio member.

Mr R. W. Fenton, of the Government Publicity Office, has been appointed secrctarv to the Board, which it is intended shall amalgamate the advertising functions of the Publicity Office and the Tourist and Railway Departments in regard to overseas countries.
