TRAMWAY BOARD'S ACTION From tunc to time bus competition with tli© tramways has been considered, by the Christchui'ch Tramway Board, and finally the matter was referred co the Works and Traffic Committee for report. At> its mooting yesterday the committee submitted its report, which stated that the increasing itso of private motor-cars was undoubtedly affecting tramway traffic. Private- car owners picked up at tramway stops hundreds of their friends.
